Student AI Workshop: Fact-Checking AI: Strategies for Identifying Credible Sources
Can you trust AI for research? In this hands-on workshop, students will learn how to fact-check AI outputs. We will discuss the AI tools available at USD; an overview of prompting techniques; and why we need to evaluate AI outputs for credibility. Students will learn practical tips and strategies for verifying resources and information and how to spot AI errors such as “hallucinations.”
