This series is open to all Faculty and Graduate Teaching Assistants. Each workshop will stand on its own, so you may attend any or all of the sessions. Lunch will be provided.

Session 2: Practical and Ethical AI for Teaching and Learning

This workshop will provide a thoughtful integration of generative AI tools into your classroom. Drawing on research and practice by educators who are experts in integrating AI into their disciplines, we'll examine both the opportunities and challenges of AI in teaching and learning. Discover practical strategies for using AI to enhance learning while addressing plagiarism concerns, maintaining rigor, and teaching students to be critical AI collaborators. You will leave with concrete tools, ethical frameworks, and actionable ideas you can implement in your courses. This workshop is designed for faculty across all disciplines who seek to harness AI's potential while preserving educational integrity, exploring how AI can both aid and hinder genuine student learning.
