Remembering the Vietnam Wars: An Evening with Le Ly Hayslip
Join the Department of History and Copley Library at the University of San Diego for an evening with acclaimed author and founder of the Global Village Foundation, Le Ly Hayslip. Hayslip will share passages from her memoir, When Heaven and Earth Changed Places that detail her experiences during the Vietnam Wars as well as clips from the Oliver Stone film inspired by her writing, Heaven and Earth. A Q&A session will follow. Everyone in attendance will be entered for a chance to win a free copy of the book, and copies of the book will be available for sale after we close with a lively Q&A session. Register Today.

Parking: Park in the West Parking Structure (Marian Way and Linda Vista Road) and take the tram up the hill to Copley Library. Payment is required Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 am - 7:00 pm. When paying for parking, you will need to enter your license plate number at a pay station. Please allow sufficient time for the tram. You may experience wait times from 9-15 minutes.
