Filipino American History Month Featuring Dr. Jason Magabo Perez
Copley Library and the Filipino Ugnayan Student Organization (FUSO) celebrate Filipino American History Month with Dr. Jason Magabo Perez who is the San Diego Poet Laureate, 2023-24. Perez is the author of two hybrid collections of poetry and prose: Phenomenology of Superhero (Red Bird Chapbooks, 2016) and This is for the Mostless (WordTech Editions, 2017). Dr.Perez has also written and performed three staged, multimedia performance works. This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
