Integrating Dedoose into Your Analysis | Dedoose Orientation

This introductory session covers the fundamentals of using Dedoose for both qualitative and mixed methods research projects. We'll start with the basics: importing different data types (interviews, focus groups, images), setting up your project structure, and understanding Dedoose's interface.

You'll learn essential coding techniques, from developing initial codes to creating sophisticated coding schemes that capture the complexity of your data. The session demonstrates Dedoose's collaborative features, including how to share projects with team members, manage user permissions, and maintain consistency across multiple coders. We'll cover codebook development and management strategies that ensure reliability when working with research teams or advisors.
