AI Faculty Workshop Series, Session 4: Teaching with AI: Creating AI-Aware Assignments

Series Info: Join your library faculty colleagues for a four-part workshop series on teaching, learning, and scholarship with Artificial Intelligence. This series is open to all Faculty and Graduate Teaching Assistants. Each workshop will stand on its own, so you may attend any or all of the sessions. Lunch will be provided.

Session 4: Teaching with AI, Creating AI-Aware Assignments

Bring an existing assignment, or an idea for a new assignment, and together we will test how AI handles it.  Then, working together, discuss strategies to create assignments that integrate AI, preserve academic integrity, and, hopefully, promote deeper critical thinking for our students.  Let’s rethink assignments for an AI-aware classroom! (Fuller description to be added closer to the event.)
