Can I Play this Film on Campus?: Public Performance Rights Explained

Are you USD faculty or staff planning to show a film on campus as part of a festival or other public educational event? If so, you may need to obtain public performance rights. Librarians Alejandra Nann and Christopher Marcum will explain what public performance rights are, tell you when you need them, and show you how to get them. Attendees will be invited to practice securing PPR for a film of their choice, and lunch will be provided for all registered participants.
