Google Scholar for Starting Research

Google is often the starting place for finding an answer, but Google Scholar is much better as a first step for discovering credible sources for academic research. In this workshop, discover the differences between using Google and Google Scholar for your research. Learn how to navigate Google Scholar settings to optimize your results. Find out how to do efficient searching in Google Scholar and how to sort and filter your results. Discover the easiest ways to view full-text links from Google Scholar.

No previous experience with Google Scholar is required for this workshop; undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to attend.
